I had the immense privilege of photographing Windy's beloved mare Noodles (first image), her 25 year old senior gelding Fudge (see photo 2!), and her retired service dog Cassidy. Windy loves all of her babies deeply, and attends frequent functions to expand her horse whispering skills (she's got tons, so by expand, I guess she means to obtain more super powers). This woman has helped deliver foals, assisted with colic cases, and trained BLM rescue horses for rehoming through equine rescues. She has a heart of gold, and will do anything she can to help, when she can. We love her like family, and I hope you can see her compassionate and loving spirt shine through from her shoot! I love the shot where she tips her hat to Noodles, in gratitude. Noodles looks so inquisitive in that shot, like she understands. And knowing her bond with Windy, I bet she did!
