Heather and I met at the a fundraising event for Snake River Animal Shelter in the fall. Her family got sweet baby Juniper a few months later. Their daughter Emery was in charge of meeting the puppies and picking out the right fit for the family, and she nailed it! Juniper here is beyond precious, social, and well trained at such a young age.

The Talbots wanted to do a winter wonderland session, and of course, Christmas 2025 was snow less in Idaho Falls... and so was most January & February. Instead of risking running out of time, I asked if they'd be game to drive about an hour to Island Park and utilize the snow there. I'm so thankful they were, because it is a magical area, I mean you're about to see! I used my snow boots to dig them a path out to the posing locations, or they'd have sunk in the thick snow!

I'm thrilled with how connected the Talbots are as a family, and how well we captured that! Thank you guys for braving the snow with me! And to Juniper, for showing me all her new tricks she's been learning!
