Christmas is almost upon us, and it's time to share a very special session with you all! Nancy reached out to me to book a pet photography session for her senior pups Jack and Dixie. But we ran into a hiccup!

Jack is diabetic, and in his 5th Rockstar year of being managed, cataracts so blind in both eyes, but he developed bilateral glaucoma. For those of you who do not know, this is a painful condition where the eye's pressure increases and cause stabbing head pains. In some cases, the eyes do not respond to medications, and removal of the eyes is the most humane decision for the pet's comfort. Which is what Jack's stellar vet team at Skyline assisted with! For Jack, it was not much of a lifestyle change, as he's been a joyful blind boy for many years now! We had to post pone our session until he was all healed up, but now look at how PRECIOUS he is! His hair has grown back in, and he's so handsome with his little black bowtie. He navigate the home with ease, and his personality shines bright!

Nancy, John, Jack, and Dixie love the Grinch, so Nancy put together a lovely Grinch display. She sewed pillows, decorated her home, and even got a Grinch tree! John wore his Grinch tie. Their images came out so festive and full of love! Dixie girl was such a good sit/stay for us to trial our candy cane shot you see below. That was not easy, let me tell you! But she nailed it! Once we get snow (that sticks!), we'll be doing another session to capture winter wonderland shots!
